At the beginning of September, Bibinje will host the Beach Festival for the first time, an international music event bringing Czech and Croatian performers, music, social gatherings, as well as a presentation of Czech culture and gastronomy to the town.
The festival will take place on Monday and Tuesday, 7 and 8 September 2026, on the beach next to Konoba Ribar Jere in Bibinje, with the programme running both evenings from 7:00 PM until approximately 11:00 PM.
The event is organised by the Bibinje Tourist Board in cooperation with the Czech travel agency Jadran za dušu, which, after 28 successful seasons on the Omiš Riviera, is now expanding part of its activities towards Bibinje, Zadar and the surrounding area.
This is the fourth edition of the project, which has been held on the Croatian coast in recent years, but this year it will take place in Bibinje for the very first time.
The aim of the project is to introduce Czech visitors to Bibinje not only as a summer destination, but also as a place worth visiting during the pre-season and post-season, offering an opportunity to experience local culture, gastronomy, music and way of life.
A Festival Connected to the Long Tradition of the Czech Music Scene
The Beach Festival is connected with the well-known Czech festival Porta, a festival of popular Czech music with a tradition spanning more than 60 years.
A special guest at this year’s programme will be Jiří Vondráček, one of the founders of the Porta Festival, a renowned Czech musician and songwriter, and the recipient of numerous music awards.
Over the two evenings, he will be joined by a number of performers from the Czech Republic, including Andrea Mineva, Martin Čepelík, Monika Šonk, Verdida, Jiří Šámal, Monika Bublíková, Ladybirds and Ruda Sakala, as well as a finalist of the Porta Festival 2026.

The first festival evening begins at 7:00 PM with the official opening, followed by performances by:

The programme on the second day also begins at 7:00 PM, featuring:

- 7:45 PM – Monika Bublíková
- 8:45 PM – Ladybirds
- 9:45 PM – Jiří Vondráček + Ruda Sakala
- 10:30 PM – joint finale featuring all performers
Alongside the musical programme, visitors will also have the opportunity to discover part of the Czech gastronomic offer, taste Czech specialities and enjoy traditional Czech beer.
The event is designed as a meeting place for local residents and visitors, offering a relaxed seaside atmosphere filled with music and socialising, while also providing an opportunity to further strengthen Bibinje’s connection with the Czech tourism market.
The Beach Festival in Bibinje will take place on 7 and 8 September, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, near Konoba Ribar Jere at Frnaža.
