Don Marko Sikirić

Exceptional priest born in Bibinje in 1858 encouraged material and educational construction of the settlement. He built the parish house and building for the elementary school next to it. Notional drafts he was making himself are now held in the parish archives. Due to his efforts, a public library was opened in 1904.

Tomislav Bralić i klapa Intrade

Tomislav Bralic was born in Bibinje, on the 10th of December 1968, he is a part of Klapa Intrade since 1986, and he has been performing solo since 1993. Intrade is a mixture of people from Zadar, Bibinje and Preko (Lovre Eškinja, Zdenko  Kneževic, Ante Šindija, Tomislav Bralić, Nikica Gregov, Nenad Kužat, Vinko Sikirić, Mladen Brižić, Davor Petrovic, Edi Bučić). Tomislav Bralic and Intrade recorded solo CDs – Dalmacijo lipa (2003), Karta ljubavi (2006), Lipa Rič (2007), Ne damo te pismo naša (2009), Zora bila (2010), Cviće (2014), Sritan čovik (2015).

Ivica Sikirić – Ićo

One of the finest tenors in Bibinje, part of Klapa Bibinje, and after the debut in Zadarfest (1998) he performs solo. He published three albums, Postelja od ruža(2002), Najlipša si (2003), Iz moje duše (2004).

Born in Bibinje in 1950, writes on the original speech of Bibinje. His poems have been composed and performed at all major festivals, and there is almost no klapa that doesn’t sing his rhythmic strophes. Some of his most famous songs are: ‘Croatio, iz duše te ljubim’, ‘Neka ti bude postelja meka’, Ne znam što me tebi vuče’, ‘Što bi moja duša bila’.

Stoljećiman ko zna kada, prvi čovik tu je stiga,
ol iz sela ol iz grada, u to misto ispod briga.
I žuljavin svojin rukan, ni se boja glada, rata,
gradija je mukon teškon rivu i Sela vrata

Još i danas kajno onda, ispod istog neba plava,
u zalivu malon, pod velikin brigon Bibinje moje spava.
Tamne kale i konobe, po bršljanu još mirišu,
Ponosno na kampanelu Stara zvona još se njišu.

Stare jare i bažane, pokrivene još od tle

Interesting work enriched by data from the past of Bibinje, the first of this kind that deals with the history of Bibinje, is the work of Ante Gverić born in Bibinje.

The roots from Bibinje bring the list of almost all residents of Bibinje in the last few centuries. They were founded tribal origin, branched rod with large families, genealogical trees were also made. It is a work of Ivan Šindija from Bibinje.
